What to expect this year:
Double the Space
The entirety of Memorial park is reserved for Panhandle Pride. Pick your favorite spot from previous years or find a new spot and turn it into your new favorite.
Double the Entertainment
It’s going to take two stages to hold all the entertainment scheduled for 2017. We will start at 12:00 PM with our opening ceremony. The 212 Club drag queens will return with their amazing drag show. Mike Fuller will once again grace the stage with his musical talents. Also returning will be the amazing group “Dear Marsha!” We have a few openings remaining to fill for entertainers. If you have an act and would like to donate your time and talent, please fill out the entertainer registration form.
Many More Activities
There will be a new bouncer house for the kids! Also new this year will be Flying Fitness Aerial Arts Studio activities, Belly Dancing, Photo Booth, and arts and crafts. You can even learn how to dance Hip Hop, Two Step, Foxtrot and Salsa.
Know Your Status
The City of Amarillo Department of Public Health will once again be available for free and confidential HIV testing
NEW THIS YEAR
Food vendors will be available this year. You are still more than welcome to bring your own picnic to the park. That will not change! However, due to state health regulations, the potluck portion of the picnic is being replaced with food vendors. If you prefer to purchase food at the festival these vendors will be more than happy to help quiet your hunger pangs. It’s not too late to register your food truck or concession stand to join the fun.
More of our Partners, Vendors, and Exhibitors
Double the space means room for plenty of organizations to come help us make Pride FABULOUS this year! You can still join the growing list of our partners by submitting your registration form.
There is still time to become a sponsor for this year’s activities!
Would you like to volunteer a little of your time to help? There’s a form for that too!
