Sunday, June 25, 2017, noon – 6 p.m.
Panhandle Pride Festival and Celebration
Memorial Park @ 28th & Washington St., Amarillo
Double the Space – The entire park is reserved for Panhandle Pride. Pick your favorite spot from previous years or find a new spot and turn it into your favorite.
Double the Entertainment – It’s going to take two stages to hold all the entertainment scheduled for 2017. We will start at Noon with our opening ceremony. The 212 Club drag queens will return with their amazing drag show. Mike Fuller will once again grace the stage with his musical talents. Also returning will be the amazing group “Dear Marsha!” We have a few openings remaining to fill for entertainers. If you have an act and would like to donate your time and talent, please fill out the entertainer registration form.
Many more activities – There will be a new bouncer house for the kids! Also new this year will be a bigger volleyball tournament, Flying Fitness Aerial Arts Studio activities, Belly Dancing, Photo Booth, and arts and crafts. You can even learn how to dance Hip Hop, Two Step, Foxtrot and Salsa.
Know your status – The City of Amarillo Department of Public Health will once again be available for free and confidential HIV testing
NEW THIS YEAR – Food vendors will be available this year. You are still more than welcome to bring your own picnic to the park. That will not change! However, due to state health regulations, the potluck portion of the picnic is being replaced with food vendors. If you prefer to purchase food at the festival these vendors will be more than happy to help quiet your hunger pangs. It’s not too late to register your food truck or concession stand to join the fun.
More Vendors/Exhibitors – Double the space means room for plenty of vendors. You can still join the growing list of vendors by submitting your vendor registration form.
There is still time to become a sponsor for this year’s activities! Let us know how you can help!
Would you like to volunteer time? There’s a form for that!
